Approach & Benefits
Pam trains for results and finds she gets them by asking participants’ opinions about the subject being trained. She finds that once they get talking, they are more confident and engaged. She is then able to see, from what they say, where the problems lie in the organization, then she can advise CEOs of potential development strategies: it all links together like a street map.
Pam’s expertise has been evident in Human Resource courses, including CIPD qualifications, Leadership Development programmes, Women’s Empowerment & Leadership programmes, development of middle management, trainee management and newly appointed supervisory staff and executive and staff training for organizational mentoring programmes.
The benefits of Pam’s approach include:
- Working more effectively to give individuals exactly what they need to develop
- Being more able to see the bigger picture of the whole company and how it all interlocks
- Moving past just training individuals into identifying whole company developments
“Pam has been working with us for the past 10 years on a wide variety of different courses: HR; Leadership; Mentoring & Coaching for both managers and developees; to name but a few. Her material is always appropriate for the course participant level and having lived here a long time, she understands the Emirati culture. Our staff likes the way she works with them – to help and develop. In addition, we always get a lot of feedback from Pam on what’s going wrong with systems and what subjects we need to concentrate on to increase staff development. This has proved very helpful in assisting us to change and improve performance.” Chief of Research & Analysis TAKREER Research Centre
“We have been working with Pam for more than 12 years, on a variety of different projects. Her last project was a series of programmes for an ILM Award for First Line Managers. Pam has worked at staff, Middle and Senior Management levels. Her material is always appropriate for the level, she has excellent communication skills and tends to give feedback in a helpful way without giving offence to the receiver.” Training & Career Development Department Manager TAKREER
“We have worked with Pam on numerous projects since 2000. Most recently I worked with her on a series of Time Management and Prioritisation courses. Initially we were extremely sceptical about finding a competent trainer who would make a difference in the daily routine of our employees. Pam has changed our perception: she made a personalised diagnosis with the concerned managers and delivered tailor-made programmes on the specific problematics of each team. The impact of the training was strong, Pam is the only trainer hired by us who demonstrated outstanding persistence in her follow up with both employees and managers. This factor was key to the programme’s success.” Training Specialist Chalhoub Group
“We have worked with Pam for over 10 years. We consider Pam’s skills and ability to get the message across very highly. Over the years we have come to rely on her good judgement and advice with regard to certain specifics of our business. Her communication skills are second to none, a vital ingredient in the mixed culture of this region.” Director and General Manager of Planters Horticulture
