I spent an exciting 5 days with David as he ran an intensive ICALS certification training in Leadership for a group of us in Accra last week. David’s huge professional breadth and business depth were two assets that we benefited from immensely and he combined this with awesome interpersonal skills. “Swim in a different pool”, that words stays in my mind. When I met David, he reminded me not to be afraid to swim in a different pool, means to totally change direction in my career and do something new. Well, I have been fulfilling my passion in hotel industry in a few different fields from the start and once again I am now swimming in a different pool.

What instantly impressed me about David is that he is extremely thoughtful, methodical and able to see through the issues at hand. Perceptive where others miss things. If the situation is ambiguous, he will help frame it. If there is a question on where to go next, David is able to come up with a creative plan that is very much out of the box. In other words, there is an enlightened thinker who is able to think strategically and come up with next steps. I have met a lot of coaches before, and done work in this area, so I have comparison — David is top notch and I am grateful for his insights and thoughts.

My compliments to Mr. Rigby for his ability to deal with the challenges of a multi-cultural class (language barriers, mobile phone interruptions, & understanding of material). His instructor experience along with personal experiences kept the class entertained as well as assisted in the retain ability of the course material & instil lessons to be practiced beyond the course.
I personally have implemented several points passed on & have seen immediate positive results in the way I conduct myself at work & in my personal life.
I would like to point out that Mr. Rigby also took time to speak with students on an individual basis after the course offering more insight on improving themselves in the way daily tasks are carried out. I am sure most students have noticed improvements in the way they look at themselves & how they are seen by fellow coworkers.
Mr. Rigby did an excellent job of not only instructing the class in time management but also engaging the students whilst keeping away from the normal “read from the slides” manner of some instructors.
I would highly recommend Mr. Rigby for other course instruction as he demonstrated experience beyond the course outline.
