Background in Psychospiritual Counselling and Coaching
Sheona Della-Fort is a Spiritual Business Coach. She is currently completing a MA Psychosynthesis Psychology which is a Psychology of hope as opposed to other psychotherapeutic interventions which can tend to focus on past and existential dilemmas. It is a psychospiritual or transpersonal psychology. She is also training in psychosynthesis psychotherapeutic counselling and offers clients the added dimension of bringing spirituality into the mix and is happy for clients to bring their beliefs. She is also an authorized pioneer in the Church of England.
She has lived, travelled and volunteered in 35 countries and has worked for the UK Prison Service in Diversity and Inclusion, Operational Audit and Compliance, Psychological Therapeutic Community and was seconded to the Civil Service East Midlands Area to set up projects involving civil servants to volunteer with community projects, business communities, tertiary educational establishments and finance institutions. The cross fertilisation of people enabled both managers, leaders and clerical staff to gain a wide experience of praxis in the community they lived. This contributed to a wide range of engagement as participants gained project management skills.
After meeting and dealing with people who have been traumatized by war, violence and abuse in various forms she joined a veteran’s charity in the UK and started their national phone support service for Area Welfare Managers.
Studying public relations and community leadership in Canada enabled her to gain her to identify her Gallup Leadership Strengths which are Maximiser, Ideation, Strategy, Positivity and Intelligence. She uses these in various organisations she coaches.
At present she also volunteers with the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee for the UKCP to bring about culture free assessments in psychology and how trauma can affect people spiritually as well as volunteering with the Spiritual Crisis Network which looks at spontaneous awakenings, Near Death Experiences, Cosmic Consciousness, Mystical Experiences and Religious Experiences from various traditions.
Sheona also enjoys meditation and is part of SCT Associate Malcolm Lewis’s Radiating Your Light group which brings mysticism into business. Spiritual business coaching is in her DNA and wants to work holistically with body, mind and spirit. She was a guest appearance on SCT’s David Rigby’s radio show in Bristol to showcase the benefits of volunteering.
In her spare time she likes sailing and is a member of the River Aln Boat Club. Her favourite destinations are the Nordic countries of Sweden and Finland

Approach & Benefits
Sheona coaches leaders and emerging leaders to use meditation as a way of opening to a ‘Tri Phasic’ model of operating and seeing other hitherto unknown possibilities. When an individual is aligned to their ‘soul’ or psychological purpose, then motivation is intrinsic rather than forced upon by external factors. Using the Tree of Life which is a common metaphor across cultures for building resilience and community, she brings alignment to individual, team and organizational values, purpose and goals.
If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.” ― Henry Ford
The benefits of Sheona’s approach include:
- Seeing the possibilities within each individual client
- Working holistically with the client in body, mind and spirit.
- Working cross culturally
- Conflict resolution and mediation using meditation and self-compassion
- Managing change for organisations, communities and clients
- Maximizing potential through recognising emergent energies
- Personal crises may be times of profound psychological and spiritual growth and the need for an empathetic witness
- Dealing with bereavement and loss in an organisation or client in a psychospiritual context
Selected Testimonials
“As a person who has never been counselled by a professional before I am pleasantly surprised by the effect of the work that Sheona has done with me. I am more able and willing to consider my responses to new situations but also those from my past which seems to have opened up a more thoughtful and kinder attitude within me. Sheona is very good at picking up ideas from our conversations and spending time discussing finer details which I, in my rather Gung Ho attitude to life, have never even thought of. Our sessions have been extremely useful for me.”’ -LP
“Sheona is a caring soul who really got to know me in a very short time. In 6 sessions, she got deep into
my person and dare I say, loved me more than I love myself. I love Sheona’s use of meditation in our
sessions. Perhaps, the best thing to come of this experience with her is that I am meditating on a regular
schedule again. Sheona is really great and I know she has worked with Web3 clients. I would be curious to work with a coach who is deeper and knows Web3 more than I do. Sheona gave me ideas of how to use my personality to test out ideas in Web3. It’s still a struggle for me but I loved that she pointed out positive things about me and correlated them to a need in crypto. ? Sheona gave some great actionable advice for my career and love of crypto for the first 4 weeks. She got me meditating again which is probably the biggest thing.

“Well! Thank you Sheona for helping me love myself :). Thank you for those meditation sessions and those mind and body awareness exercises. Thank you for diligently nudging me whenever my mind would go after my body with a stick. It was extremely easy to talk to you, to share my life experiences with you. You were very perceptive of my emotions and picked up little cues from my body language itself which I might’ve not been able to express myself. Thank you for all the insights you shared and all the knowledge you imparted. You’re an awesome coach and I hope to schedule another 6 sessions with you, sooner than later! Cheers and stay healthy, stay blessed!! Firstly, I realized that I am not very good at conveying my thoughts and feelings. It is way too abstract and there is no concrete feeling as such. Which is also why, even though I love my wife to bits, I don’t actually have much to say when she asks me how I’m feeling.
With Sheona, somehow, I eventually could just blur out the abstract-ness of my emotions, and we could
then together try to piece it together and try to make sense of it. In doing so, I talked a lot about things. Things which I already kinda knew and had thought of, but had them lost with a lot of other stuff. The essence being, she helped me crystallize my thoughts and nudged me into direction that made me make sense of why I was feeling what I was feeling. Secondly, her role in making me realize the impact of our conditioning while growing up, and in general as well. The values that had been inculcated in me while growing up, as well as the surroundings that I had seen, essentially created blind-spots for me. I was oblivious to the fact that a lot of what I was feeling was rooted in the , maybe misplaced, values that I had picked up over the years. This was a revelation! And once I did realize this, I was able to distance and detach myself from the emotions that arose when such a value was being challenged. And instead let me look at it from a more objective, compassionate lens. These were my essential takeaways. These learnings, on their own, have given me a fresh perspective. Also, her constant reminder of being compassionate to my own self, and point out every time I was being harsh on myself, made me become more accepting and relaxed with my own being. This also in turn helped reduce my anxiety a little, as now I’m not constantly worried about my actions and how they will be perceived. . How easy it was to open up to Sheona Her study and research into the synergy between Mind, Body and Heart was excellently conveyed by the virtue of meditation sessions and discussions surrounding the same. It really helped me to take a
step back and see how my thinking patterns were emerging, and the impact they were having on my self
consciously and sub-consciously . She was an EXCELLENT listener. ” -Sudi “Well! Thank you Sheona for helping me love myself :). “Our Sheona is a Great coach but more than that she connected as an elder sister. She is very loving and
ensure that we take the best from each sessions. She is very kind and humble and made sure that I
came out as an happier person after every session. It was amazing to note that they would remember even the slightest of incidences that I might have mentioned. As a woman mentor, it was much easier for me to share some hidden secrets with her as she always made sure to give me a safe space and did not judge me while I opened up. I feel so much happier after participating in 2 Zen Coaching programs. I have become kinder to myself. That is one of the biggest things that I took from it. To not be too harsh on myself and accept my mistakes and set new goals for the future ahead. ”’ – Jija – Zen Coaching Client
