Ian is often described as having an avuncular relationship with his audiences – genuinely friendly and caring but also playful and provocative. Ian turns his introvert style into a strength as his listening skills help establish clear understanding about the client’s needs. In fact, Power Listening is one of his specialities.
He also has a strong dislike of jargon and techno-speak.
The benefits of Ian’s approach include:
- Establishing immediate trust and rapport
- Powerful listening skills to fully connect with the client
- Down to earth, no nonsense approach
- Highly interactive style
- Puts the spotlight on attendees rather than himself
- Practical, user-friendly techniques
- Flexible approach to meet expected and unexpected requirements
- Makes sure sessions are fun and enjoyable as well as productive.
