Many of our coaching business clients receive grants of hundreds of pounds from Train to Gain’s Leadership and Management Advisory Service, because the coaching helps them to develop leadership skills.

I was pleased to be invited to a gathering of Train to Gain’s advisers in Swindon this week, to meet up, share information, and help develop this service.

The advisers stay in touch with the firms they have helped, so it was encouraging to discover that they had received good feedback about the coaching we have given, and wanted to connect further clients.

It’s easy to imagine that everyone is away in August. The roads are quieter in the rush hour, but not everyone is tied to the school holidays. We’re finding continuing requests are coming in from people who’d like support for their business or a clearer sense of direction for their life.

As a team we’re planning more events for September onwards. Watch this space.

We’ve had to postpone the 1st July event, however we’re going ahead with the one on 8th July.

I’m looking forward to the event on Thursday 8th July, which Isla has already written about. We’ve teamed up with Business-Scene who organise regular networking events nationally. This means that whether you are there because you are part of their Swindon Connections event, or just want to meet up with our team of coaches, you can enjoy an evening of meeting new business contacts as well as talking through your current issues with an experienced business coach.

This is all happening at The Madison Hotel, Swindon SN3 4TL (near M4 Junction 15) from 6:00 p.m. on Thursday 8th July 2010.
